FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP—CentraState Healthcare Foundation honored members of the Circle of Friends Society at a reception held at the hospital on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
The Circle of Friends Society is a recognition and tribute to the importance of philanthropy and community involvement in CentraStates quest for continuous improvement of patient care. It recognizes the generosity of individuals, community businesses, corporations, community service organizations and many of the boroughs and townships served by CentraState.
This prominent and permanent display, located in the main lobby of the Medical Center, honors individuals and organizations whose philanthropic support over the years has totaled $10,000 or more. The society is an ever-changing, living tribute as each year, new names are added and current Society members move up in category as their generosity grows.
The name of each Society member is inscribed in honor of their lifetime support of CentraState. Their collective donations exceed $43 million, and a number of donations came through bequests. These generous donors provided and, in most cases, continue to provide significant support for our mission of providing the highest quality and compassionate healthcare to the communities served by CentraState.
