CentraState Healthcare Foundation today announced a transformative donation from Donald and Ann Robertshaw, philanthropists committed to improving cardiovascular health in our community. To recognize their generosity, the cardiovascular catheterization laboratory and interventional suite at CentraState Medical Center has been named the Robertshaw Cardiovascular Interventional Center.
“We know how lucky we both are to be here together, enjoying life. We’re honored to contribute to something that not only matches our interests, but also will help as many people as we can,” stated Ann Robertshaw.
The substantial donation from Mr. and Mrs. Robertshaw underscores their deep commitment to advancing cardiac care and reflects their dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing heart-related challenges. With this remarkable support, CentraState Healthcare System will further enhance its capabilities in cardiovascular medicine, pioneering innovative treatments and delivering compassionate care to patients with cardiac conditions.
At CentraState’s newly-named Robertshaw Cardiovascular Interventional Center, patients receive lifesaving interventional procedures such as elective and emergency angioplasty. The cardiovascular specialty center, which is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by world-class medical professionals, will continue to lead the way in diagnosing, treating, and preventing heart disease, empowering individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
“We are profoundly grateful to Don and Ann Robertshaw for their extraordinary generosity and unwavering commitment to cardiovascular health,” said Tom Scott, President and CEO of CentraState Healthcare System. “This transformative donation will ensure that area residents will not have to travel far for the highest quality interventional cardiology services.”
Nancy Barone, Vice President, Development, Volunteer & Guest Services shared “the Foundation is currently engaged in a fundraising campaign aimed at enhancing cardiac services at the Medical Center.“
