FREEHOLD, New Jersey – Delivering a new shot in its capital campaign to support the Statesir Cancer Center at CentraState, CentraState Healthcare Foundation announced today a new fundraising event centered on the pickleball phenomenon. Pickleball enthusiasts of all levels are invited to participate in the first-ever Pickleball Palooza to be held at The Atlantic Club Pickleball Center in Manasquan on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 6-9 pm. All proceeds will benefit the cancer programs and services provided at CentraState Medical Center.
The public is invited to sign up as an individual or a foursome in a round-robin style tournament or a clinic option for beginners. Spectator registration is also available, and all are invited to enjoy refreshments, raffles and a cash bar. Please visit centrastatefoundation.org/pickleball to register and for more information.
The special pickleball event is the latest offering in CentraState Healthcare Foundation’s campaign to advance cancer care and meet the expanding needs in the region served by CentraState Medical Center.
Gifts in support of Oncology Services have contributed to the expansion of the medical oncology, infusion and inpatient units at the hospital, as well as vital programs and services.
Offering the comprehensive care of a major metropolitan cancer center in the community setting, the Statesir Cancer Center at CentraState provides the most advanced cancer treatments, therapies and technologies available, as well as genetic counseling and clinical trials.
